AM I TOO OLD TO DANCE?
No. The is no age limit, and you’re never too old to dance. We recommend exploring our styles and levels to find a class best-suited to you.
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM AGE?
Yes, some classes have minimum age restrictions - based on the nature of the class.
All classes are adult only (18yrs+) with the exception of Pom & Commercial which is open to 16yrs+ -
WHAT DANCE STYLES DO YOU OFFER?
We offer a variety of class styles across our location. Please visit the Class Styles page for written descriptions and videos. -
Do you have a first-time discount or offer?
Yes. We have two intro offers you can choose from. -

We always recommend booking Beginner [BEG/BEG] for your first class.

DO YOU HAVE NON-BEGINNER CLASSES?
Yes, we have two levels that cater to non-beginners. Please check out our Class Levelspage for more information. -
CAN I START ANYTIME?
Yes, please refer to our timetable to register for casual classes, workshops or find dates for short-course kick-off.
HOW DO I BOOK?
All bookings are made online, we do not accept walk-ins. Instructions on how to book, and our portal can be found on our Booking Page.
FIRST class FAQ

Read your booking confirmation email (check your spam) for important class details.
Arrive earlier than normal to find parking and access the studio on time.
Ask questions - our staff and community want to help you,
Remember to breathe and be kind to yourself and remember the main goal is having fun!

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
We always recommend arriving up to 10 minutes before the classes start time to find parking.
CAN I ENTER THE STUDIO?
Please do not enter the studio, until your instructor invites you into the space.DO I NEED TO CHECK-IN?
Yes. Please ensure you are checked-in for every session with out staff members. -
HOW LONG ARE CLASSES:
Casual classes are blocked for 70 minutes.
The active dance session is for 60 minutes.
We reserve 10 minutes for check-in and out procedures.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IN A CLASS?
First 5 Minutes: Check-In & Intro
Warm-Up & Drills: Your instructor will provide a guided warm-up.
Choreography: Learn an a level and style-specific routine.
Practice & Perform: Keep practicing the steps, and take turns performing.
Filming (Optional): Capture your progress, hard work and talent on film
Last 5 Minutes: Q&A, Self Cool-Down & Group Picture.

DO I NEED TO FILM MYSELF IN CLASS?
No, filming is optional.
We recommend filming to record your progress.
You can use recordings to look back and see how far you have come!
WHAT IF I SHARE ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
If you post please tag @danceheelsup and tag your instructor to credit their choreography.
We love to see you dancing, and want to support you!

The right heels are important for your safety and to protect the floors.

No heels that meet guidelines? You’re welcome to wear socks or sneakers.
Are my heels okay? Bring them and check-in with your instructor.
You may be asked to remove any inappropriate footwear.

Yes, once you have created an account you will be sent an email with instructions on how to download and access the appp.

DO YOU SEND BOOKING CONFIRMATION EMAILS?
Yes, please read the email. This will confirm you class date, time, style, location and teacher.I HAVE NOT RECIEIVED A CONFIRMATION EMAIL

MY CLASS IS FULL, CAN I STILL BOOK?
We recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. You can not book a full class, but you can join the waitlist.WILL I BE NOTIFIED IF THERE IS A SPOT?
Yes. The system will send out an SMS or in-app notification when a spot becomes available - first to reply will claim the spot.

I CAN NO LONGER MAKE IT TO CLASS, HOW DO I CANCEL?
Please login to the booking portal or app to cancel your class.CAN I EMAIL OR MESSAGE DHU TO CANCEL?
No, all cancellations must be made online via the app or portal. Emails or messages are not accepted.WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We have a strict 8-hour cancellation policy.

DO YOU CHARGE LATE CANCEL FEES?
Yes, late fees will apply for cancellations made less than 8-hours in advance.DO YOU CHARGE NO-SHOW FEES?
Yes, in the event you do not cancel your class a fee will be incurred.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
No, we do not offer refunds.
I CANCELLED MORE THAN 8 HOURS IN ADVANCE
A credit will automatically be issued back to your account.
I CANCELLED LESS THAN 8 HOURS IN ADVANCE
No credit will be applied, and the booking is forfieted.
